Summary Notes 3 sections in Math binder: Hwk/Handouts Marked Work Summary Note section contains: Title page for each unit Summary notes for each unit List of summary notes for each unit written on title page at the conclusion of each unit

Summary Notes – cont’d Characteristics of Summary Notes: summary of new learning made after the new learning takes place, not during the new learning use a variety of graphic organizers use colour for highlighting key points keep a master list of notes, e.g. in class? moodle? students can use Summary Notes during unit summative assessments students can use Summary Notes to create a graphic organizer for the key learnings of the course to use during final evaluations
