PURPOSE To promote the active participation and philanthropic endeavor of Health Sciences students in the Kansas City Metropolitan area To promote health education To provide academic assistance for Bachelor's of Health Sciences students To provide opportunities to utilize leadership, organizational, and cooperative skills within and around the Society.
HOW TO BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER Must earn 10 points per academic year (5 per semester) to become an active member This includes: Attending a general meeting = 1 point (make sure to sign in) Volunteering at a BHS Society Event = 2 points Attending a BHS Society Event = 1 point Being an “active member” means: You are an ambassador for the BHS program and BHS Society You are involved and committed to participating in BHS Society activities You are a leader both inside and outside the classroom
