SilNet What is LoRa? LoRa (Long Range) is a - communication technology. LoRa Technology is the BACKBONE of IoT, connecting sensors to the Cloud and enabling real-time communication of data and analytics that can be utilized to enhance efficiency and productivity. Why LoRa? LoRa Technology offers an efficient, flexible and economical solution to real-world problems in rural and indoor use cases, where cellular and Wi-Fi/ BLE based networks are ineffective. Learn why LoRa is becoming the de facto standard of low power wide area networks (LPWAN).
What is SilNet LoRaWAN? SilNet LoRaWAN is a long range, low power wireless network and media access control protocol (MAC) that is intended for use in building, industry and many other IoT networks. IoT devices (“SilNetnodes”) send small data packets to any number of “SilNetgateways” that may be in the several-kilometer range of a node via the LoRaWAN wireless protocol. The gateways then use more traditional communications such as wired Internet connections to forward the messages to a terrestrial platform-server which validates the packets and forwards the application payload to the terrestrial-platform app-server.
Block Diagram SilNet
SilNet SilNetnode :- The SilNetnode is a LoRa integrated modem with a range of more than 1/3/10 km depends on Geo-location, type of antenna and tx power, low power enabling a battery life greater than 10 years and the ability to connect millions of wireless sensor nodes to LoRa gateways and IoT- connected Cloud Servers. SilNetGateway/Gateway Bridge :- The SilNetGateway /Gateway Bridge is one type of router containing concentrator, packet forwarder, its support MQTT protocol for secure communication between SilNetGateway and Terrestrial Platform Server using internet and also support some additional security feature.
Technical Specifications Terrestrial Platform Server: - The Terrestrial Platform Server is cloud base server is use for de-duplication and handling of received uplink frames received by the gateway(s), handling of the LoRaWAN mac-layer and scheduling of downlink data transmissions. This server supported all regions IN, AS, EU, CN, KR, US, RU and compatible with all three class A, B, C. Terrestrial Platform App-Server:- Terrestrial platform App Server is an open-source LoRaWAN application-server, part of the Lora Server project. It is responsible for the device “inventory” part of a LoRaWAN infrastructure, handling of join-request and the handling and encryption of application payloads. It offers a web-interface where users, organizations, applications and devices can be managed. For integration with external services, it offers a RESTful and gRPC API. Device data can be sent and / or received over MQTT, HTTP and be written directly into Database.
Features Support for the radio frequency subset of 863– 870 MHz and 902–928 MHz ISM band, in compliance with LoRaWAN RF regional profiles (EU868, US915, AS923, IN865, AUS915, RU868) Support for up to 16 uplink channels Support for endpoint class-A, B, and C; spreading factors; adaptive data rate; and channels diversity Support for Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) LoRaWAN Geo location through Time Differential of Arrival (TDoA) and Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) Improved global interoperability speeds adoption and roll out of LoRaWAN-based networks and IoT applications Protocol designed specifically for low power consumption extending battery lifetime up to 20 years Confirmed and unconfirmed uplink-Downlink with status Adaptive data rate Support long range Support end-to-end encryption High-speed transmission and reception

Details Required From Client
Street Light Monitoring System Street Lights Monitoring a) It will monitor the Voltage, Current, PF, KW, ON/OFF condition & Consumption units for each group of Street Lights. b) If required a Cubicle Box will be provided which will monitor and control single array of lights. c) Cubicle Box shall be IP65 and will be used outdoor. d) SCADA shall indicate the approximate lights OFF based on the preset current of full capacity. i.e. if all lights are ON , then 40A is consumed. User presets to 35A , then if current drawn is less than 35A an alarm has to be raised. e) Alternate/ Zigzag pattern of operating lights during high night hours can be achieved for making optimum usage of lights & power consumption. f) Cubicle Box should contain the following./ Optional. i) Space for Meter & TTB. ii) Box shall have a contactor/Relay and MCB for control and auto/Bypass operation
Thank You !!!
