All Classes - Monday 9/12/16 Pick up a chapter 1 graphic organizer from the Outbox Answer the first question on the graphic organizer. There are 3 sections of chapter 1. Everyone reads beginning to section 1. Then, read your section. Each person at the table will read a section (1,2,3). Write down main ideas and answer questions for your section. Expert teams will meet (all the 1s, 2s, 3s) and then share out with the class. Take notes over others presentations. Read / discuss section 4 as a class Goal: To read chapter 1 of Tipping Point and understand the 3 epidemic traits (law of the few, stickiness factor, power of context).

ELA - Tuesday 9/13/16 Sign in to a Chromebook and go to Google classroom (classroom.google.com) . (Then, wait for instructions) Write the class code for Google classroom in your Writer’s Notebook. 1st hour – 3rd hour - 7th hour - Brief recap - definitions of Law of the Few, Stickiness Factor, Power of Context from yesterday Overview of Malala and The Tipping Point essay prompt and rubric Read the two articles “Malala the Powerful” and “Malala’s Global Voice Stronger Than Ever”.
