How to become a physician Sarah’s Career Path How to become a physician

My Career Goals I want to become a phycologist by 2027. To reach my goal I need to Graduate high school by June, 2019 I will need to know what courses to take in high school that will benefit me in post secondary.

What is Psychologist? A psychologist is a someone who studies the mind and behaviour in others. On a daily basis they help people cope with mental disorders Asses relationship issues Give help for people with substance abuse Assist people with learning disorders

About my future career My job can be done from home, mental health offices, and hospitals. $79,840 to $101,992 Many psychologists working in private practice set their own work times, however they would work evenings and weekends for their clients.

My job has a 0.3% chance of becoming automated Being a psychologists is working with people and creating connections to help others. Use your education to negotiate with people for the help they need.

Psychology would be great for me because.. I love to help people with their problems, I am a good listener and I am very passionate about working with kids and making people happy.

I am not quite ready for this career, but I will get there! These are skills for the job I still need to learn: I need to learn how to provide copping methods Attend schooling and volunteer in these type of situations to gain experience. Education so I can help people in different ways that they most need

This is what appeals to me with this career… Helping people get better I enjoy solving problems, and finding solutions for people How the brain functions with Mental Disorders I find it very interesting how the chemical imbalance in the brain effects the behavior of someone. Working one on one with clients To me its important to work one on one with clients so they can have a trusting relationship with me as I provide them with help.

These are some things I find less appealing about this career… Doing this job you can only help so much, so you have to cope with not being able to help everyone. It can be quite draining on your mind and body It also can be dangerous in some enviorments.

Potential obstacles to getting this career The possible obstacles: My Plan to overcome them Not getting into the job I desire to do Work really hard and alter what I want to suit my needs

Potential obstacles to being successful within this career The possible obstacles: There are many psychologists to compete with, so being successful may be a struggle My plan to overcome them: Do a lot of schooling to get my masters degree in psychology. Love my job and keep working to be better and what I do

The training/education required for my career is: Undergraduate degree ( 4-5 years) Doctorate in psychology ( 4-7 years) in graduate school

I intend to go to UBC Okanagan for that career Kelowna BC, Canada Psychology (BSc) Bachelor of science 4 Years

Financial Plan I am going to pay for my program: By working in the summers, having help from my parents and budgeting well.

High school courses required Grade 11 courses: Grade 12 courses: Chemistry 11 English 12 Pre calculus 12 2 other approved grade 12 courses

Psychology is awesome!!! KFC, Dominos, and Pizza Hut all use the color red in their logos to spark excitement into your brain as the color red triggers that. People who play video games are much more likely to lucid dream then non-gamers If you convince yourself you slept well, your brain will think that you did.
