then took a cab to our hotel, it was a hour ride and when we got there we unpacked. After settling in we went for lunch where we ate cheese sandwich and egg sandwich. After the meal we went to this classroom where we talked about what games we could teach to the school. Soon after we went to have dinner and we had a salami fillet and the children who couldn't eat pork ate omelette pie. Later that evening we went to bed.

Our Travel We got 4 taxies which arrived at the hotel at 8:45am. We left the hotel at 9:00am which took around 1 hour. Once we got there, we introduced each other and made new friends. Playground Their playground was really massive and awesome. They had 4 sections in the playground which made it bigger than ours. We made a lot of friends and learnt games from them. Example spider which was similar to ours as we call it bulldog.

Games At The School The first game we The first game we played was called Zap. The game was to Introduce yourself. We were very shy at first but we realised that we were exactly the same so we joined in.

Playtime Their playtime was longer then ours and so was their lunch. In their playground there was at least a group of people playing or doing something. We all were exhausted by the heat and the longer breaks as we played a lot of games.

Day 3: Wednesday 30 th May

A tour guide named Francesco, who was Italian, took us around a cathedral. The cathedral was built around the 3 rd century AD in Gothic times.

A 13 year old girl died from admitting that she was a Christian. There were 13 geese to remember the age she died and that she used to travel with geese. We then went to the main hall where you can pray and remember Saint Eulalia.

We went to the beach with our teachers to relax and enjoy the cool waters. Hadicha and Ubeydah ran into the water and got ourselves soaking wet from top to bottom! It was absolutely worth it since it was very hot. Bogdan, Hadicha, Javarlio and Ashfaq made a brilliant sand castle that got destroyed in the end by harmless water!! Later on after drying of, we had an amazing ice-cream which everyone loved.

Toy shop We first visited the toy shop and there we saw many brilliant things to buy. But the shop had very expensive toys. However we did end up buying a pack of cards.

When we were in the gift shop there were so many things to buy like mugs, t-shirts, key rings and plates that had Barcelona written on it. Most of all, we bought t – shirts, mugs and key rings.

Restaurant On Wednesday and Thursday we ate at a 5 star restaurant, there we had to use a lot of our table manners.
