Description OECD Going Digital Project MAKING THE TRANSFORMATION WORK FOR GROWTH AND WELL-BEING Help policymakers better understand the digital transformation that is taking place; Develop tools to help create a policy environment enabling economies and societies to prosper in a world that is increasingly digital and data-driven; Deliver a whole-of-house perspective on state, effects, expected benefits and issues raised by digitalization in different sectors and policy areas; Provide analysis of key cross-cutting issues, including: jobs and skills; productivity, competition and market structure; social challenges and well-being.

A holistic policy framework that is focused on investment, support open competitive markets, innovation and creativity, and inclusive participation is necessary to maximize the transformation latent in these digitally-driven opportunities while mitigating potential risks; Focus issues: Enhance digital infrastructure. Build digital skills and literacy Do not regulate against change, but instead create enlightened legal and regulatory structures Build a culture of trust Business at OECD looks to OECD to lead in developing the evidence base across issues in support of these objectives, and to provide a focus for exchange between governments and relevant stakeholders.
