The Patriarchs It started with Abraham God started with him in Ur of the Chaldeans and brought him to Canaan. God first spoke to Abraham about the promise.
The Patriarchs Isaac came next Isaac was born through God’s power. He was placed on the altar to be sacrificed. Isaac’s wife also had trouble having children. Through God’s power, two more sons were born—Esau and Jacob.
The Patriarchs Jacob The Deceiver Esau and Jacob were brothers. Esau was the older brother. He deserved the blessing and the birthright. Jacob, however, wanted to have the blessing and the birthright. Jacob schemes to get it.
