Salvation History Through Art

Here are the two paintings, side by side Here are the two paintings, side by side. (At this point, put teachers in groups of 3-5. Hand out the laminated paintings, giving one set to each group. Have them write down 3 similarities and 3 differences between the two paintings. Give them 5 minutes to do this. Then reconvene, and follow the teacher’s guide discussion. “Why do you think?” etc. Leading them to the two natures of Christ, concluding with His fully human nature. Then abruptly ask the celebrity borrowing your shirt question, per the lesson plan.
