Research Paper THINK of a Safety Problem in the Construction Industry?

Scaffolding Accidents In the construction industry, accidents happen! Prevention programs?

OSHA’s “Fatal Four”

Research Questions What fall prevention programs are being implemented to decrease the risk of serious injury or fatalities among scaffolding accidents? What is the current fatality rate from scaffolding accidents? When a worker is injured? Are they wearing the proper PPE? Which fall prevention program is BEST?

OSHA’s Top Scaffolding Standard Violations 29 CFR 1926.451, Scaffolding General Requirements, Construction. 29 CFR 1926.501, Fall Protection in Construction. 29 CFR 1926.503, Fall Protection – Training Requirements.

Prevention Programs Implement a primary and secondary prevention program on site. Incorporate technology. Categorize accidents and determine what areas need adjustments. Use a survey to label equipment acceptable or unacceptable.

Prospective Prevention Program
