Highly interdisciplinary VPA is highly interdisciplinary, with programs in visual art, music, sound, and theater. We regularly collaborate with other programs across campus. Faculty mentor students for presentations at regional and national professional conferences. Student projects combine science, technology, and artistry. Approximately 800 students participate in courses, productions, or ensembles each semester. Music ensembles travel regionally and internationally including locations such as South Africa, the Balkans, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, China, Russia, and Eastern Europe. 3/22/17

Project Areas & Opportunities Arts & Ecology - audio archives of disappearing soundscapes, artistic designs for windows to reduce bird-window collisions. Touring – choir, orchestra, band and jazz tours to regional and international locations. Performances – Annually four major theatre productions, twenty music concerts. 3/22/17
Project Areas & Opportunities Art Shows – Professional Visiting Artists, Project Learning Lab initiatives in Gallery. Rozsa Center – Rozsa Performing Arts Series, Class Acts Educational Program, Rozsa Lecture Series, Rozsa sponsored art exhibitions. Graduates enter into the entertainment industry at very high levels. Examples: work with Lady Gaga, Smithsonian, Ferarri Theme Park in Dubai, Disney Theme Parks, Bose, Microsoft. 3/22/17
