Campaign calls - NATIONAL Publish a new Clean Air Act fit for the 21st century

Campaign calls - NATIONAL 2. Spend £30 per person on walking and cycling every year. 3. Bring forward the phase out of petrol and diesel car sales from 2040 to 2030 at the latest. 4. Implement an expanded national network of Clean Air Zones by the end of 2018. 5. Create and fund a targeted diesel scrappage scheme. 6. Increase the Vehicle Excise Duty for new diesel cars.

Campaign calls - LOCAL Make walking, cycling, and public transport the main forms of urban transport. Make public transport cleaner, more affordable, more accessible, and more joined up. Reduce the need for private car usage and the air pollution it causes. Improve people’s health by creating more opportunities for physical activity in everyday journeys. Make streets safe and friendly places where people choose to spend time.
