Welcome to MS AIT! MS AIT program: Provides the very best graduate education in IT for high-potential leaders, especially those working on IT solutions that affect the federal government, industry or non-profit. It provides a high quality curriculum for students seeking to pursue their careers in the leading IT areas including: Cyber Security Big Data and Intelligence Analytics Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery Cyber-Human Interaction

MS AIT Degree Requirements (http://catalog.gmu.edu/index.php ): CORE: 4 courses / 12 credits CONCENTRATION: 6 courses / 18 credits 4 concentration foundation courses 2 courses chosen from electives concentration courses Total: minimum of 30 credits

Declaring a Concentration All students must declare a concentration! To declare a concentration, submit a Graduate Change of Program form to msait@gmu.edu Just taking the courses doesn't make it happen!

Advising At IST, graduate students are not assigned to advisors and can choose an advisor they would like to work with depending on their area of interest  If you have career-oriented questions that the MS AIT could prepare you for or you would like to discuss the PhD program, please feel free to meet with graduate faculty You can find a list of graduate advisors at the IST website http://ist.gmu.edu/programs/graduate-programs/phdit/ (all PhD Faculty Advisors are graduate advisors) To schedule an appointment, use an on-line scheduling system at http://ist.gmu.edu/advising/appointments
