Pathways Recurrence and Metastatic Disease Benign neoplasms Dataviews can be used Standard benign lesion pathway agreed? Metastatic Disease Use same PPI number. COSD and CWT require treatments for recurrent or metastatic disease to be recorded separately, although rules are that the same ICD10 Diagnosis should be used – the PPI is used to link the events. Can link a Primary to a Recurrence or a Metastatic referral either when the referral is first created or via the Admin screens. The linked referrals will then display as linked via the Patient’s Referral Summary screen and on each POV, there will be separate views to all Investigations, Diagnosis, Treatments and Pathologies. Same PPI will also be used when the linking process is followed. Benign Neoplasms – what’s the difference between non-cancer and benign? Patient Status is no new cancer diagnosis identified/Tumour Status is Non-cancer – get a Date of Non-cancer and Non-cancer details, plus Non-cancer Diagnosis menus where can select Neoplasms C00-D48
