Cardiac Physiologist You work in the cardiology department at your local hospital, using high-tech equipment to assess patients with heart problems You’ll have a lot of direct patient contact, working with people of all ages, ranging from babies to the elderly. Cardiac physiologists are the tools that cardiologists and surgeons need to diagnose and treat heart diseases. You work as part of a mutlidisciplinary team
