9 Safety Skills for Employees Wear & maintain protective, clean clothes. Closed toe shoes. Tie hair back. Remove bracelets, watches, rings etc. Fold sleeves back, don’t push them. Maintain high standard of hand- washing. Maintain high standard of personal hygiene. Keep work area clean. Use proper hygiene if sick. Sick means nothing serious, try to get coverage for your shift (swap shifts). Use safe food handling practices. Avoid unhygienic practices in food operation. Maintain Cave in hygienic condition.
