Cartridge replacement 1- Lever Handle 7- Sprayhead 2- Cartridge 8- Pull-out hose 3- Valve Kit 9- Counterweight 4- Fastening set 10- Check valve assembly 5- Supply hoses 11- Hose riser 6- Aerator & wrench 12-1 .75 gpm flow restrictor Make sure water supply is turned off before maintenance. Unscrew set screw (1) to remove handle. Unscrew screw (2) to remove handle extension (3). Lift off dome (4) and the friction washer (5). Using a wrench, unscrew cartridge nut (6) and remove. Remove large O-ring (7) from the nut (6) and replace with new O-ring. Remove the damaged cartridge (8) from the mixer body and discard cartridge. Put the new cartridge into body with two position pins aligned with two seats (9) and reassemble everything in opposite sequence. Be sure to test for leakage. 2. Aerator Cleaning/replacement Before carrying out this operation, make sure the water supply is turned off, then unscrew aerator using wrench supplied and remove from its seat. If aerator is clogged, rinse under running water without using detergents. If aerator is damaged, replace it.
