Agenda ListenIR LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter/Radiator LA-141 ListenIR Expansion Radiator
Innovating Assistive Listening Listen Technologies has been busy innovating assistive listening, starting with iDSP RF 72 MHz. The new ListenIR solutions are the continuation of a new approach to assistive listening
SAY: Introducing the new LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator and LA-141 Extended-Radiator the best, most cost-effective solutions for assistive listening in smaller spaces It is the only product of its kind that provides complete, gapless coverage in small-to-medium spaces. This advanced IR product is simple to use, cost-effective, designed to blend in to any environment, and offers twice the amount of coverage of similar products. New smaller room format – a growing market Corporate Meeting Rooms Classrooms Courtrooms Theaters Training Rooms [NOTE: Expand on ideal applications for ListenIR - Reference the ‘Meeting ADA compliance has its benefits’ article and the question of should your corporate boardroom AV installation comply with regulations for assistive listening devices. http://www.avnetwork.com/features/0014/meeting-ada-compliance-has-its-benefits/93921]
Coverage 2X the coverage Excess of 5,000 ft² (465 m²) Delay compensation Coverage When developing the new LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator and LA-141 ListenIR Expansion Radiators, Listen Technologies wanted to provide an innovative solution that provides full coverage for small-to-medium spaces without gaps. A single unit gives twice the coverage of similar products, ensuring that the entire room has coverage without gaps, including corners Line of site coverage in excess of 7,500 ft2 (696.77 m2) The first IR system for small-to-medium spaces with delay compensation—no signal cancellation drop outs, no matter what the cable length For expanded coverage the LT-84 can be combined with up to four LA-141 ListenIR Expansion Radiators
Coverage Speaking of coverage Listen Technologies will also be supplying EASE data set for our LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator, LA-141 ListenIR Expansion Radiators, and the LA-140 Stationary IR Radiator. As you can see by the data, the new LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator is the obvious choice for IR assistive listening in small-to-medium spaces. Williams TX75 Pro is the pattern in the upper right and Sennheiser SI 30 in the lower right
Simplicity SIMPLICITY The LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator is a simple to install, simple to use, and simple to maintain The LT-84 is a two channel Transmitter-Radiator with a choice of up to four frequencies; 2.3 MHz, 2.8 MHz, 3.3 MHz, or 3.8 MHz. This makes it easy for the installer or venue manager to set the frequencies. This is an advantage over similar products that only offer two frequencies. Sennheiser only operates in 2.3 MHz, 2.8 MHz and while Williams operates in all four they are offered in two separate units. Flexible Input Connectivity - Mic, RCA stereo sum, and Phoenix line level summed on each input channel. Williams has one mic input assignable to a channel, two Phoenix inputs one for each channel, and no RCA stereo sum
Simplicity & Cost Easy installation with included mounting hardware and legislative compliance kit – saves money and hassle Includes the components for mounting to a flat surface, wall or ceiling, attaching to a drop ceiling grid T bar, or connecting two units together One LT-84 covers 7,500 ft2 (696.77 m2) without gaps, eliminating the need to purchase additional radiators The only two channel Transmitter-Radiator with up to four frequencies; 2.3 MHz, 2.8 MHz, 3.3 MHz, or 3.8 MHz, eliminating the need to purchase additional transmitter-radiators
Design DESIGN The LT-84 ListenIR Transmitter-Radiator was designed to stealthily blend into the environment Great for architects and interior designers to incorporate into any space, without interrupting room design, an architect’s dream!
