Our Four Pillars Youth: Create and Promote opportunities for youth to learn and use French as an official language Members, Parents and Volunteers: Support a collaborative Network Decision-makers: Inform and influence parents, stakeholders and government officials Organization: Lead a dynamic, strong and effective Network New Plan arranged in pillars: each pillar represents an important aspect of Canadian parents for French work

Carrousel Activity – Step 1 Let’s Analyze and Synthesize! Learn about the CPF Network Strategic Plan and share your good ideas! Divide your table in half. One half will join another table. A half from other table will join remainder. Each group moves to a pillar that is posted. Read. List your Branch / Chapter initiatives in this area. Circulate to the next Pillar and so forth. move with half of your table group and join half of another table group so that each new carousel group has some members who know each other and some new members you don’t know. Try to mix up people from various provinces and territories. Move to one of the posted Carousel pages. Each page has one of the Canadian Parents for French Strategic Plan pillars. Read points about the pillar. Write initiatives that your Branch or Chapter might do related to the pillar.

Carrousel Activity – Step 2 Collecting great ideas! Focus on Youth! Circulate to read the ideas for the Youth Pillar. In small groups by Chapter, select one you plan to work on in the next year. Return to your original table group. Use Chapter or Branch Strategies template to indicate your planned initiative. Collecting great ideas! 1. In pairs or small groups of members from your Branch or Chapter, read the Carousel posters and collect ideas for a Youth or Organization initiative you plan to work on in your Chapter or Branch. 2.
