Work Word Problems Pencils Down Please: Leo can paint a room in 3 hours. Mike can paint the same room in 6 hours. How many hours will it take them to paint the room together?

Let’s take a closer look If Leo can paint the room in 3 hours, then how many rooms can he paint in 1 hour? And if Mike can paint the room in 6 hours, then how much can he paint in 1 hour? Therefore, if they work together, how much can they paint in one hour? +

What does this mean? + How much of the room gets painted in one hour when they work together? At this rate, how long will it take them to paint the room?
