Videos You Can Use Montana SMP

Outreach Panel- Medical Provider Videos and Partnersihps Kris Gross and Renee Labrie-Shanks

Useable Medicare SMP Educational Video Series MT SMP wrote and produced a series of 4 videos available on YouTube They are branded with National Logo and phone for all to use Montana SMP has produced a four-part video series for outreach purposes. The videos are written following a storyline of Bill, a person on Medicare, to make it easy and interesting to follow along. They are all from 2-3 minutes long and can be watched in succession or one at a time. The characters are played by Montana SMP volunteers Bill and Nancy, (no paid professional actors). Montana SMP took into consideration with branding to make sure any state SMP could also use the videos for outreach. Though they do state at the end they were created by our program, they are titled in a way that any SMP could utilize them.

Useable Medicare SMP Educational Video Series Places and ways to use include: Website, including partner websites (libraries, senior centers, etc) Use in presentations where WiFi available Use as part of volunteer training They are uploaded to YouTube for any and all use. It is recommended they be imbedded in SMP websites as a series people can click on; they can be shared via Facebook; and partners including senior centers and libraries could have the links on their websites as well. Finally, since they are accessible via internet, presenters could show them at outreach events.

Useable Medicare SMP Educational Video Series Episode 1: https://youtu.be/WCu2Ep8Z8HQ   Episode 2: https://youtu.be/QgNLjtC_Qzk Episode 3: https://youtu.be/JQfcAPfu6Fo Episode 4: https://youtu.be/zRB_ZVnfK6U These are not loaded for public as of yet, they will be when I return. Once they are, they will automatically play one after the other if people watch one. These were all filmed in one day by two non-paid MT SMP volunteers, not actors. Which is another example of how to utilize your volunteers!

Useable Medicare SMP Educational Video Series They will be uploaded into Resource Library and available for all beginning next week. Contact Montana SMP Program Manager Renee Labrie-Shanks with any questions. rlabrie@missoulaagingservices.org
