Autodesk Professional User: AutoCAD Unit 6 – Use Blocks and XREF’s

You can create AutoCAD blocks from the following commands: Wblock Bedit Block

If you create a block on Layer 0 (zero), then the inserted layer of the block will always be: The Current Layer

To change the properties of objects in an inserted Block, you must: Select the object and use the Properties palette with the Block Editor.

To insert multiple blocks as one, you would create them as what kind of block? Nested

What are tow types of constraints that you can add to dynamic block? Geometric and Dimensional

To change the properties of parameters on a block, you must: Make your changes within Block Editor

To create different versions of a block with a different appearance, you should: Create different versions of the block and then switch between them by changing the block’s visibility state.

To bring an external reference into an open AutoCAD DWG file, you must: Attach it.

If an external reference is shown in the Reference Manage list but does NOT display, the file must be: Loaded

The following are path types for an external reference: No path Relative path Full path

Adding parameters to a block means you are adding: grips
