President’s Report- Lauren Johnson Local PTA Status There are 10 PTAs that have not obtained Good Standing with Texas PTA There is 1 PTA that has not been listed as Active with Texas PTA

President’s Report- Lauren Johnson Financial Reconciliations- don’t wait till the last minute! Transitions Scholarship Endowment - $10,000 Texas PTA Camp Just Imagine- I have flyers for these schools, so see me. If you did not get paper flyers, there is a digital flyer you can send out and post on social media!

President’s Report- Lauren Johnson UPCOMING SUMMER EVENTS! National PTA Convention- June 21-24, New Orleans, LA Texas PTA LAUNCH- July 20-22 in Dallas at the Hilton Anatole Registration is now open! Grab some tear and share cards before you leave today! Tim Greenwell uncontested for secretary of Texas PTA Social – we are following the rules this year!

President’s Report- Lauren Johnson Lewisville Council of PTAs LAUNCH SOCIAL Saturday, June 21 from 7-10 PM Will be BYOB, working on food Off-site location is secured and FREE!!! There is an awesome rooftop terrace and also an indoor area for sitting as well! Invitations with detailed information will go out soon, so be watching for them!! IT IS GOING TO BE AWESOME!!

Membership Report- Wendy Hider Currently we have 18,137 – 393 members short of our goal of 18,530 Texas PTA is short 7,000 members this year to reach a 5% increase

Theme for next year: Heroes Among Us REFLECTIONS UPDATE Congratulations to Lucas Burton, Briarhill Middle School, for winning the Award of Excellence in the Middle School Photography division in the National PTA Reflections contest!! He will receive a $200 Young Artist Scholarship, a silver medal, certificate of excellence, and his work will be featured in the traveling exhibition! Theme for next year: Heroes Among Us

Dressed to Learn- Shannon Nault Thank you to Wellington ES, Bluebonnet ES, McAuliffe ES for their recent donations Thank you to Shadow Ridge for their deodorant and haircare drive Needs include packaged underwear in sizes 4-16, polo shirts in youth sizes (navy, white, maroon, light blue) and khaki pants Contact Shannon if you are interested in taking over this rewarding program
