Key Messages We monitor key dentist labor supply decisions and we concluded we needed to revise our future supply of dentist projections. Big picture, in the most probable scenario, the per capita supply of dentists is still projected to increase through 2037. The issue of provider adequacy is more complex; further research is needed.
