National Workshop on ‘Data Analysis Using Excel and SPSS’ Objective of the Workshop: To develop in-depth knowledge, understanding and practice of the EXCEL and SPSS for data analysis. Beneficiary: 50 Research Scholars from all over India. Outcomes: Total 150 applications were received form all over India of which 50 were selected on first come first serve basis. Workshop included expert lectures and practical sessions. Hence the participants were scholars and pursuing their research work, this workshop was very beneficial for them. Interaction session help them to clarify their doubts and practice session offered them the opportunities of learn and exercise on excel and SPSS. The experts and participants admired the initiative and suggested to conducted such type of more activity in future.

National Seminar on ‘Inclusive Education: Issues and Challenges Objective of the Seminar: The seminar was an attempt to provide a platform to researchers, educationist, educators and administrators to discuss the issues and challenges of inclusive education and to find ways to overcome these issues and challenges. This was a venture to explore new ideas to setup and promote inclusive practices at all level of education. Beneficiary: 30 papers were selected for Presentation and gathering of 200 students, research scholars, teachers and social activist attended the seminar Outcomes: Experts from the field, faculty, scholars, students and social activist participated and come to the conclusion that organised and comprehensive steps should be taken by the school, society and government to promote inclusive setup. Awareness among parents should be spread. Students, teachers, non-teaching staff should be sensitised towards children under difficult conditions, divyang children, SC/St & Girl child, Street Children etc. Alternative education programme i.e. mobile school, home based education should be promoted. Educational institutions should improve their facilities and resources.

One Day Workshop on ‘How to Write Effective Research Paper’ Objective of the Workshop: The objective of training workshop is to strengthen the skill and knowledge of faculty, Research Scholars & Students to write effective qualitative and quantitative research papers.. Beneficiary: 50 participants including teacher, research scholars and students. Outcomes:. The quality of education is a major concern of Indian higher education system which is specifically determined by the quality of research work done at higher education level and thought provoking activities i.e. writing papers and articles for conferences and journals. Generally, this is observed that most of teachers, scholars and students face difficulties in writing research papers due to insufficient training and guidance in this field. Keeping in view the above concern, department of education organised one day training workshop on ‘How to write effective research paper’ for faculty, research scholars & students. The workshop was very fruitful for the participants.
