Collective Worship Time

We gather together:

Opening Prayer Dear Jesus, Please be with me in everything I do. Help me to make good choices and to feel the comfort of knowing you are by my side even when things go wrong. Thank you for always being there for me. Amen.

We listen Matthew 18: 18-20 The Gospel according to St Matthew: 18 “I tell you the truth. The things you don’t allow on earth will be the things God does not allow. The things you allow on earth will be the things that God allows. 19 “Also, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about something, then you can pray for it. And the thing you ask for will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 This is true because if two or three people come together in my name, I am there with them.” The Gospel of the Lord Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ Matthew 18: 18-20

We respond How many of us have gathered here today? How do you think Jesus is amongst us right now? We are here to listen to God’s word together and to pray. He lives amongst us as the Holy Spirit. Can you think of any other times when two or more people gather together to pray?

We go forth God our father, I come to say, Thank you for your love today. Thank you for my family And all the friends you give to me. Guard me in the dark of night And in the morning send your light.
