Definition of Census "The population census - a single process of gathering, synthesizing, evaluating, analyzing and publishing or otherwise dissemination of demographic, social and economic data relating to at certain times to all persons in a country or clearly limited part of the country." 2

Resolution 2005/13 of the Economic and Social Council on 22 July 2005 is the founding document of a new round of 2010 census. 3

EVALUATION OF THE CENSUS DATA As one of the most important methods for assessing the census of population and housing in the Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan used demographic analysis, during which is widely used graphical representation of data, in particular, the construction of the population pyramid, evaluates the quality of the census in matters related to sex and age composition population, a comparison of results of the census of population and housing details of the current account of demographic indicators, data evaluation and data from previous censuses. 15

According to the census of population and housing in 2010 the difference between the permanent population republic and current statistical data amounted to +34.9 thousand people. 17

In July 2011 the Statistical Agency under President of the Republic of Tajikistan was initiated by the global assessment , which was first held in 2012 . The main purpose of the Global Assessment of the national statistical system of Tajikistan was to assess the level of compliance with accepted international and European standards, including the fundamental principles of official statistics and norms of the European Statistics Code.      March 7, 2013 in Dushanbe was a presentation of the main findings and recommendations of the Global assessment of the national system of official statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan which was presented by UNECE .
