Worldwide Runway Excursions The slide contains the global rates for runway excursion accidents per 1 million flights in commercial air transport operations, above 2250kg MTOM between 2000 and 2010. It is a rate based on estimates of aircraft movements per State. Some countries have reported no runway excursion accident and are shown in grey.
