SAFE INTERNET SEARCH WEBSITES FOR STUDENTS COMPILED BY DEBORAH JONES-ALLEN

This site is created by librarians in the Ramapo Catskill Library System, in New York, and provides a single page search system that draws from multiple databases selected by library professionals.

Instead of searching with a single word, students are encouraged to use questions in their search. Additional search categories include a dictionary, thesaurus, almanac, biography, science, math and clip art. Ask for Kids

Features animals, music, jokes, games and advertisements.
