Workshop Objectives-Part 1 Participate in discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on activities that will enable you to: Identify mechanical joints, leak clamps on caulked bell and spigot joints; specific to cast iron pipe. Explain the handling, lowering in, and fitting of steel pipe in a ditch, after excavation. Prepare pipes with threaded fittings and inspect completed joints.
