Odysseus wakes up. Odysseus falls asleep. Instructions: Number from 1-9 on the scratch paper I gave you. Read “Cattle of the Sun God,” pages 684-686. As you read, put the events in the correct order. For example, if you think 9 is the first thing that happened, you’d write 9 next to 1. Odysseus says to bypass Thrinika. Lampetia tells her daddy that Odysseus’s men have killed his cattle. Odysseus falls asleep. Odysseus wakes up. Odysseus’s men broil up the cattle’s intestines and stomachs and eat them. Odysseus’s men are punished with a thunderbolt from Zeus. Odysseus prays to the gods in solitude. Only Odysseus survives, ending up on Calypso’s island. There had been a month of winds; the men were out of food and hungry. Alert! These are the wrong answers. They are just an example of what you should do now.
