Body Planes Divide the body Structures of the body are located & described in relation to planes Three planes are used to describe the body: Coronal (Frontal) Transverse Sagittal

Coronal (Frontal) – separates front and back Transverse – divides upper and lower body Sagittal – divides body into right & left sides
