Jesuran Wellness Centre Pathways to Hope

Jesuran Wellness Centre Jesuran Welfare Services is: A Public Benevolent Institution endorsed to access the Deductible gift recipient status (DGR). We are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for -profits Commission (ACNC) We have established a humanitarian Asylum seeker and Refugee Support Centre. Jesuran Wellness Centre - May 2015 is the welfare arm of the Jesuran group of entities. We are offering a range of amenities and services to engage these wounded , traumatised people. Primarily devoted to social and community welfare, development, rehabilitation to equip refugees, Asylum seekers from Multicultural backgrounds. The programs are designed to make the new migrants adapt and acclimatise to life in Australia. Our main goals are: Mental Stability - demonstrate mercy compassion and unconditional love. Spiritual Stability - every refugee has multiple soul wounds, trauma and much brokenness. Spiritual guidance will be provided both secular and non secular Social Stability - utilise Skilling/ rehabilitation / counselling programmes to build up the fallen human psyche. Physical stability – mentoring from volunteer bank and pathways to physical wellbeing. Community Stability - centre to Pathways to Hope.   The Jesuran Wellness Centre will be Sanctuary of all of the above and a symbol of practical ministries, services and programme , that will mend broken souls, lift lives back on the road from the way side, give life anew and begin to transform lives with light and love.

Our Mission/Vision Vision Mission A Community and Wellness Centre that provides innovative and sustainable programs and services to improve the Individual’s physical, mental, emotional health and wellbeing. Mission To work together with the community, business and government, to meet the physical and emotional needs of the individual, through the provision of supportive, recreational, cultural and welfare programs. The Centre will provide a safe, caring and supportive environment for members of all communities.

Pathways to Hope An overview of the program: Assessment of each individual’s state of mind, finances , relationship and career/skills. A detailed go forward plan to deal with any issues arising from the assessment will be drawn up and discussed with the participants prior to proceeding. A volunteer will be allocated to each participant (based their preferred language) to help them through the process. Provision of counselling /trauma healing and inner healing will be provided if needed. Help with English language (spoken and written) if needed through established alliances. Help with addiction/gambling issues if needed also through established alliances. Help with personal hygiene and grooming. Help with career planning and job seeking. Help with interview preparation. Home based and professional business training and mentoring.

Participants/Clients Anyone aged between 18 years and 60 years Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) men or women Long Term Unemployed Asylum Seekers

Volunteers Jesuran is entirely resourced by volunteers A pilot project with the Pathways to Hope is the development of a volunteer bank to support participants is being explored with the Dandenong Council. We are delighted that our services have been recognised and are being utilised in the community.
