Before anything else… Phones need to be off and in your backpack…not in your pocket! Gum needs to be in trash chewing gum/eating/chewing plastic, etc. = lunch detention!

Integer Quiz!  Please hide your quiz under your math folder as you work. Cheating = 0pts. When you are finished with the integer quiz please quietly work on the Algebra Tile Practice page. (No tiles today though!) The Algebra Tiles Practice Wkst is due TODAY before you leave this class.

Pause, please! As you finish your Algebra Tiles Practice Wkst you will be given the “Easy As Pie” graphing worksheets. Please pause on your worksheet to learn how the graphing worksheet works.

Coordinate Graphing Review Really listen carefully to the guest teacher’s explanation of the graphing because… …if you don’t pay attention, your final product won’t look like anything! If you do this correctly, you’ll end up drawing a picture with the graphing!!

Coordinates are listed (x,y) y - axis The x coordinate tells you how far to move over on the x-axis x - axis

Coordinates are listed (x,y) y - axis Go over 12 and up 34 and put a dot The y coordinate tells you how far to move up on the y-axis x - axis

Now go over 13 and up 32 and put a dot Coordinates are listed (x,y) y - axis x - axis

Now connect the two dots using a straight edge. Plot the next point and connect… repeat until it says “stop.” y - axis x - axis

y - axis x - axis

Plot the next point and connect… repeat until it says “STOP.” y - axis Plot the next point and connect… repeat until it says “STOP.” x - axis

Good Luck! Connect these dots Don’t connect since it said “stop.” All of these coordinates are connected to the one listed above it. Good Luck! Don’t connect the last coordinate of this list to the first one in the next list since it said “stop.”

you may continue working on the graphing. Please turn Once you finish the Algebra Tile Practice, you may continue working on the graphing. Please turn in the Algebra Tile Practice as soon as it is complete.
