Corsicana Middle School 2018-2019 Incoming 7th Grade Registration February 23, 2017

Competitive Sports Offered Tennis Athletics- Football Athletics- Cross Country Athletics- Volleyball Athletics- Basketball Athletics- Track Students are in off-season when not in a sport Full-Year Commitment

Athletics, Tennis, and PE Athletics and Tennis are competitive sports classes Requires physical and additional paperwork After school/Before School practice Good Grades – Must pass all classes. Grades checked every 3 weeks High Expectations for classroom behavior Represent Corsicana #TCC PE No physical No after school practice Daily physical activity (Basketball, soccer, dodgeball, tag, etc.)

Cheerleading You must be willing to represent CMS in a positive way and be a leader. The average cost is approx. $800. Please see the Cheerleading Guidelines on the Corsicana ISD website for a listing of all the rules.

Being a cheerleader is a privilege! Cheerleading Being a cheerleader is a privilege! Things to consider: You must be passing all your classes at the time of tryouts. You must have and maintain clean social media.

Band 3 Bands at CMS which are determined by band directors. Honor Symphonic Concert Students NOT in Band but interested in joining should sign up for it in their schedules.   Contact Mr. Hinton at CIS Band hall Must attend Band instrument tryouts on March 30th, April 1st, and or April 3rd.

Will I Get Exactly What I Choose? We will do our best to get you the classes you choose! To help get the classes you really want, you need to do your BEST In your Classes On the STAAR Test

Signatures Your signature on the registration sheet ensures that you have read and understand the course registration sheet. Your PARENT MUST sign!

Registration Due Dates Mrs. Cutrer & Mrs. Montfort will be in your Science class on the following dates to review and pick up your registration sheets. (Turn them in to your Science Teacher when completed so you don’t lose them.) Tuesday, February 20th – Davis and Steele Wednesday, February 21st – Carico and Chancellor Thursday, February 22nd – Anzures Friday, February 23rd - Betts
