End of our blogging adventures? The formal sessions for this module finished in December 2006 with assignment submission in January 2007. BUT…. We were about to begin a whole new series of blogging adventures as we created and shared a community blog. 5 months later the Foundation Degree students were still blogging and they have continued to use pebblepad in year 2 Lucia is beginning an ementor role with my current first years.
Students and tutors share responsibility for blog posts – May 07
The first blog activity on 7th December 2006 was a compulsory online discussion activity between the 28 students and the tutors All other blog posts after this were voluntary In December structured posts were used to encourage reflection upon assignment preparation and writing There were 274 posts/comments in response to these 4 prompts alone
