Norwegian Hospitality Association Employer and trade organization for businesses in the hospitality industry in Norway 3000 members Hotels/accomadation, resturants, adventure businesses, culture, sports, destination marketing organizations, car rental and camping 15 regional offices 7 Norwegian Hospitality region associations with local knowledge and expertise Main objective create and sustain conditions that secure the competitiveness and profitability in the tourist industry Norwegian Hospitality Association (NHO Reiseliv) has around 3000 members and is the largest employer and trade organization for businesses in the hospitality industry in Norway. Our members range from small family owned enterprises to multinational corporations, and represent accommodation, catering, culture, sports, destination marketing organizations, car rental and adventure businesses. The organization is part of the Confederation of the Norwegian Enterprise (NHO), which is the main representative organization for Norwegian employers. NHO is the leading voice of business and industry in Norway. Having expert knowledge and an extensive business network, the NHO plays an important and constructive role in the Norwegian society. The affiliation with NHO enables NHO Reiseliv to benefit from the organization's extensive resources. Furthermore, the organization covers the entire country with 15 regional offices and seven own Norwegian Hospitality region associations and boards. This enables us to assist businesses where they are located, with local knowledge and expertise. Our main objective is to create and sustain conditions that secure the competitiveness and profitability of the hospitality industry. We participate actively in the shaping of Norwegian industrial policy and seeks to influence decisions that public bodies take nationally or locally. NHO Reiseliv is a formidable party to wage negotiations, at the same time as it has extensive expertise in wage and employer issues. Co-operation agreements for purchasing from a number of major suppliers to the industry make considerable savings for member businesses.
