Education Sub-Committee CHAIR: Carol Scott OBJECTIVE: Committed to utilizing the Mission: Lifeline quarterly reports to identify educational opportunities. The overarching goal is to reduce mortality and morbidity for STEMI patients and improve overall quality of care by following AHA/ACC guidelines and recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the Planning Committee and participate in the Annual State Mission Lifeline Conference to improve TN STEMI System of Care Prepare for the Annual State Mission: Lifeline Conference by working with STEMI Committee Physicians and Coordinators to identify regional education needs. Attend Conference; assist with topics; suggest speakers; present lecture Attend steering committee calls and/or Quarterly System Data Review, and communicate Education projects including the Annual State Mission: Lifeline Conference. Data Sub-Committee CHAIR: Dr. Dan Munoz OBJECTIVE: Committed to providing insight on Mission: Lifeline quarterly reports. The overarching goal is to reduce mortality and morbidity for STEMI patients and improve overall quality of care by following AHA/ACC guidelines and recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the Quarterly System Data Review Webinar by reviewing the quarterly system reports, derive take home messages with possible action plans to improve system performance based on the data. Coach hospital staff, physicians and EMS agencies that want to understand their data better. Attend steering committee calls and/or Quarterly System Data Review, highlighting areas of success and challenges. Serve on the Planning Committee of the Annual State Mission Lifeline Conference. EMS Sub-Committee CHAIR: Brandon Ward OBJECTIVE: Committed to utilizing the Mission: Lifeline quarterly reports to communicate challenges and successes to EMS throughout the state and being a resource. The overarching goal is to reduce mortality and morbidity for STEMI patients and improve overall quality of care by following AHA/ACC guidelines and recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage EMS agencies to participate in TN Mission: Lifeline and encourage EMS Agencies to seek Mission: Lifeline recognition by providing information and resources to achieve this. Attend steering committee calls and/or Quarterly System Data Review, highlighting areas of success and challenges regarding EMS. Serve on the Planning Committee of the Annual State Mission Lifeline Conference. Attend Conference; assist with topics; suggest speakers; present lecture 11/15/2018 ©2010, American Heart Association

Regional Coordinators for the State East: Leslie Bishop Middle: Kevin Tennant West: Donna Rye OBJECTIVE: Committed to advancing the systems of care for patients with ST-Segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) in their region by utilizing the Mission: Lifeline Quarterly reports. The overarching goal is to reduce mortality and morbidity for STEMI patients and improve overall quality of care by following AHA/ACC guidelines and recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve on the Planning Committee and participate in the Annual State Mission Lifeline Conference to improve TN STEMI System of Care  Attend Conference; assist with topics; suggest speakers; present lecture Serve as a STEMI expert resource Participates in the steering committee calls and/or Quarterly System Data Review, and provides success and challenges of the region.
