3D Color Wheels Fall 2018

OBJECTIVE In their groups, students will choose a theme (animals, sports, names, plants, etc.). Then, each student in the group will choose an icon that fits within that group (animals > cat, sports > baseball). Students will next create a template of their icon made from cardstock. They will then trace this icon 12 times.

OBJECTIVE Cont. Next, students will cut out the shapes and use only red, yellow, and blue to mix the correct colors and paint one of each: Red-Violet, Red, Red-Orange, Orange, Yellow-Orange, Yellow, Yellow-Green, Green, Blue-Green, Blue, Blue-Violet, Violet.

3D ELEMENT Students must turn their color wheels into a 3- Dimensional piece of artwork as a group based on theme.
