Valley Forge Harley

What Happened In The Forest They cleared a quarter of the forest to build wooden huts and houses.

Harsh Discipline If the soldiers did not listen they would be whipped 100 times (and believe me that would not be fun)! Also if a soldier did not listen to the Commander the Commander would brake their sword on their head! They ignored the rules of sanitation witch means they went to the bathroom anywhere and the got into big trouble!

Terrible Sickness At the camp 2,000 people died of a terrible fever and other sicknesses. A lot of sickness killed soldiers, not all of them died just some of them.

Spring Comes In Harsh They only had three months to prepare for spring! At camp 2,000 people left in the middle of spring. At the end of spring the men were hungry and they barely had clothes on (and I Don’t mean that in a gross way)!

George Washington George Washington had the best cabin in Valley Forge (bottom right). George’s HQ bottom left!

Baron Frederic Wilhelm Von Stuben Von Stuben Helped the George Washington’s army by training them better.
