Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban By J. K. Rowling Image from www.amazon.com

Physical Characteristics: Harry has a thin face and green eyes and wears glasses Harry’s dark hair sticks up in the front. Harry is skinny. Harry is 13 years old. Harry has a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead.

Personality Traits: Harry is sometimes insecure, but can be brave when he needs to be. Harry is intelligent and thoughtful. Harry is nice to his friends and has a good sense of humor. Harry works hard at things he wants to improve.

Harry is like me because… I was adopted and never got to know my real parents. I can be brave if I need to be. I am good at sports. I have a good sense of humor.

One challenge Harry faced was… Harry had to live in the summers with relatives who were very mean to him. In one chapter, his Aunt Marge was making fun of Harry, saying that his father was a “good for nothing, lazy scrounger”. Harry was very angry.

To deal with the situation: Harry used magic, even though it was against his school rules. Harry put a spell on Aunt Marge that made her swell up like a balloon. Aunt Marge’s balloon body rose off the chair and bounced around in the room.

If I had been Harry… I would have used magic too. Instead of just putting a spell on Aunt Marge, I would have put one on Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, and Dursley too!
