Network-based Multiple Display Controller

What is NMDC? Controls multiple displays over a network. Intuitive GUI to assign content to individual display. Robust server-client architecture to support a wide range of displays

Scenario #1 High-tech Flip-card Show

High-tech Flip-card Show Get spectators to bring in their laptops. Connect to the NMDC server. Viola! A high-tech flip-card show! ??? Profit!

Quadruple-Projector Cinema

Quadruple-Projector Cinema On Computer #1 Play DVD and Run NMDC Server Run 2 instances of NMDC Clients On Computer #2

Total-Immersion Aquarium A room surrounded by 6 displays on 4 walls, ceiling and floor. These displays are hooked up to 6 cameras underwater. NMDC can manage these displays easily A valuable tool for deep sea exploration.

NMDC is great Takes advantage of existing hardware. Highly flexible. Possible use is only limited by the imagination of the user. A great tool for aesthetic presentations.

NMDC is feasible Server-client architecture facilitates work distribution among team members. Ethernet transmission rate is fast enough to support video. Takes advantage of the IP Multicast technology.
