Beats (Music and exercise magazine) Beats magazine is committed to give readers who are passionate about fitness, a selection of music to motivate and inspire. With every issue the reader will be guaranteed music which will suit beginners through to experts and music lovers. Bringing a completely new experience to the exercise conscious by combining music and movement, this magazine is the first of its kind to reach out to all ages. Kim loves to exercise. From her early teens she has been motivated by music and loves nothing more than to run to her favourite bands. Nothing gives her more pleasure than downloading her latest song and plugging in her headphones before a 10k run Beats is a perfect magazine to advertise the latest in exercise and performance wear and to highlight the best motivational music available to readers.
Beats magazine will be around the price of £3.00, I think this price is appropriate because the main target audience will be teens to young adults, who maybe have more disposable income than say an adult with kids. Another factor is that and the pressure inflicted on this age audience to look your best is at the highest its ever been, so people will pay money for something that will be entertaining and motivational to get them to where they want to be and the image they want to achieve.
Reveal front cover & contents (rough) Using a famous singer(Olly Murs) to show that it is possible for once ordinary people to become famous, enticement Again using a well known singer Justin Bieber.
Reveal (talent magazine) Reveal is a unique and personal magazine inspired by the public. Reveal will be a magazine about discovering talent and it will have an online form. The magazine will incorporate all genres, making it unique. Although this goes against many music magazines codes and conventions, there are many reasons as to why I think Reveal, will be successful. As you will be aware, there are now many famous artists who were discovered via talent shows, youtube and facebook. A good example of this is Justin Bieber (discovered on youtube). Reveal magazine will be a selection of covers and songs found on sites such as youtube and popular online music sites (sound cloud), which you will then be able to access/ listen to on the Reveals online website for free. Our target audience would be between 14-30s I understand that is a wide age range so I will need to keep my magazine neutral but at the same time make sure its appealing and have lots of different content that will satisfy each reader.
Reveals reader profile John is 16 years old. He is mad about singing and loves to trawl the internet for new ideas on music styles, singer/song writers and bands. John is shy and has lacked the confidence to date, to upload his own recordings. Social media is slowly building Johns confidence and know how on the best sites to promote himself as a new and up and coming singer.

Revive (all time classics magazine) Revive is an exciting new magazine created to introduce the younger generation to timeless classics whilst combining this with the fashion of the era. This magazine aims to entice a young audience with an existing interest in fashion and or music and to encourage new readers/listeners who perhaps in the past have only been interested in music or fashion (not both), with the aim to reaching out to a wider audience. Fashion and music generally sit very comfortably together and there is lots of evidence to support this. Festivals are often themed and are era related, so this would be one of the areas where it would be ideal to launch such a magazine
Reader profile ( Revive ) Jenny is a 17 year old festival goer and is very much into retro and vintage fashion. She currently follows fashion blogs and buys various fashion magazines and has an extensive collection of classic downloads in her music library. She is constantly looking for new fashion ideas which will complement her music taste.
