CAPD offers taught routes to Higher Education Academy Fellowship / Associate Fellowship – probation requirement Offering flexibility and accessibility: Transnational education and joint programme development – QMUL staff may be based around world NHS staff who teach – on regular rotations

Why distance learning… ? Strong interest from international sector in academic development – HEA qualifications increasingly valued & recognised internationally New focus on income generation – taught programmes or individual modules available as a CPD opportunity for external staff who teach / support student learning in UK and internationally

CAPD DISTANCE LEARNING PROGRAMMES CAPD Distance Learning programmes launched January 2015 – initial offering of 4 modules Offer PCGAP and CILT courses online, together with individual modules Additional modules to launch in 2015-16 academic year – ultimately all Academic Development modules available via Distance Learning
