Chapter 3 Question 9 Rows 1-3: union/Rows 4-6: employer: Union: list the NLRA violations and explain why Employer: explain why statements and actions were not NLRA violations

“You aren’t getting a raise because the union upset everything” “Find the interference:” which of these employer statements made during a union organizing campaign is “interference” under NLRA? (may be more than one…) “You aren’t getting a raise because the union upset everything” “We’ll take care of you if you vote against the union” “We are a family here: we don’t need a union!” (at meeting)“If you are in favor of a union, raise your hand!” “Would you speak against unionization at our next meeting?” “Unions have hurt the economy!”

What about these employer actions: interference? Removing “union: Yes!” stickers placed on a plant’s vending machine before a union election Ordering employers to remove these stickers from their company-owned hard hats.
