THE INTERNET The internet is a global network of interlinked computers and smaller networks.

THE INTERNET The internet was invented in the 1960s in the USA. However, it only became a worldwide phenomenon in the 1980s.

THE INTERNET It is now so large that it connects people in all regions of the world.

THE INTERNET You may access the internet from home, work, school, from libraries, airports and internet cafes.
