Questions

Review of the last three messages:

A spiritual gift is NOT talents, something you earn or something you are born with.

A Spiritual Gift IS a divine ability distributed by the Holy Spirit to enable a Christian to serve and to minister, to encourage and build up the body of Christ.

Everyone has at least one spiritual gift.

The Holy Spirit chooses which gifts to give to us.

When you feel Inferior… When you feel Inferior…. Know that you are valued and important, and keep on joyfully using your gift.

When you feel superior….. Be humble and serve.

Sometimes we are called to serve in an area that is not our strength or spiritual gift. Don’t be afraid. God is making you stronger through these experiences.

Above all, Love each other deeply Above all, Love each other deeply. I Peter 4:8 Of first importance, that Christ died for our sins. I Cor. 15:3-5

All God directed use of spiritual gifts will be for edification, service, building up, and peace of the body and will not be a source of disorder or division.

Are you Skilled AND Willing or just Skilled?

We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

God has a great plan for me from even long ago God has a great plan for me from even long ago. God made me a true masterpiece. God created me to do beneficial labor. Will I trust God and do what I was made for?

How should we do our good works. 1. Abounding in good works. 2 How should we do our good works? 1. Abounding in good works. 2. Eager and Zealous 3. For others so they can see and praise God.

We are called to work together as a team, not isolated by ourselves We are called to work together as a team, not isolated by ourselves. If you are given a special job: Be humble and do your best with it

Don’t dodge your assignment because it seems to lack any chance for success.

Don’t miss your assignment because it seems such an insignificant small thing.

The size and scope of the assignment are up to Him.

The effectiveness and lasting impact of your service are also his responsibility.

You and I are simply to be faithfully available and obedient.

Pray and move your feet.

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. Ephesians 4:11-12

Use whatever gift You have received To serve others I Peter 4:10

Do not neglect your gift. I Timothy 4:14

Fan into flame the gift of God which is in you. II Timothy 1:6

How can we fan into flame the gifts God has put into us How can we fan into flame the gifts God has put into us? -By living in reliance and submission on the Holy Spirit -By living a life of love towards one another -By living a life of discipline and self control

The workings of all the gifts come from the same Spirit, the same Lord, and the same God.

There are many parts but one body.

Everyone is important, regardless of their background.

God has placed each part of the body.

Be content with the gifts that you have.

Let others serve in their gifted areas.

God has placed each part of the body, everyone of them, just as He wanted them to be.

We need each other. We don’t want to stifle creativity and new ideas.

We do not compete with each other. Rather we care for each other.
