ING GERUNDS

Gerunds A gerund is when we change a verb to a noun. We add “ing” to make it the present participle form. I work often. Working is fun. I like working. I’m thinking of working

Gerunds Please use a gerund: As a subject As an object As an OP (inside a PP) After some verbs Smoking is unhealthy. Skiing is fun. Running is an example of good exercise.

Gerunds When we use it as a subject or object, it can be very long! Drinking alcohol and driving can kill you. Stealing your friend’s cellphone is bad. Her talking makes me go crazy!
