His Commandments Are Not Grievous 1 John 5:1-3

“Grievous” “weighty, … burdensome, … - grievous, heavy, weightier” (Strong) Many think God has put great restrictions upon us In reality, He has left us free to do our own will in most things In garden of Eden most think of the tree God told them not to eat of Were free to eat of all other trees Satan has always tried to convince man that God expects “too much”
