Determination of harmonic emission: problem of higher frequencies Paper 32 & 37 of session 2: determination of a customer emission level Algorithms are very sensitive to measurement precision (magnitude and angle harmonics)

Harmonic emission of network user with 2 arc furnaces connected in 150 kV network Estimation of the source impedance Zs with method Re(DV/DI) described in paper s2-32: good results until 5th harmonic Customer impedance Zc was determined by simulation (= impedance of filter installations) Approach described in paper s2-37 to determine the dominant factor was applied
